Blucher Ambulance Station – NHS

Stripping And Renewing Roof Cladding During 24/7 Ambulance Station Operations

NHS works uninterrupted

Client: North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

Following our successful tender submission and appointment, we liaised with our client to provide a safe working environment for the ambulance staff during these works.

The existing asbestos roofing system at the site in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne was systematically removed and replaced over a 5-week period. This left a secure and watertight building at the end of each working day. The composite cladding panels and new rooflights now provide the trust with a thermally efficient building with increased natural light. Pre-existing gutters were cleaned and relined with a guaranteed seamless system, and we replaced the existing fall pipes to complete the works. This contract was completed 2 weeks ahead of schedule during the inclement winter months

Value: £150k | Duration: 6 months
