St Mary’s Hospital – NHS

Client: Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

The listed entrance gatehouse at St Mary’s Hospital had become neglected. NHS consultants tendered a refurbishment scheme, and, with our successful proposal, we were awarded the 12-week contract.

Following site mobilisation and erection of security hoarding, we stripped out the services and internal walls. A new damp proof system was installed and renovating plaster applied to external walls. Internally, we formed offices, comms room, WCs, and beverage areas for a new security facility. Externally, we rendered, cleaned, and re-pointed the elevations and installed new UPVC sliding sash windows and security steel doors.

The building was rewired throughout, and a new flooring and decoration scheme completed the project.
